I\’m a Florida girl through and through. I\’ve never seen snow, I spent most of my childhood on the beach and I practically live off Publix subs. As much as I love the Sunshine State, it can be awkward explaining to friends that not everyone here is crazy, despite all the weird headlines that begin with Florida man and end with something completely ridiculous. Aside from dealing with our crazy neighbors, we also have to combat scorching heat, cockroaches and other things that are generally terrible.
