Originally posted by: SirChadwick We have two cats, Reilly and Church. Reilly was found at O Reilly auto parts just wondering around so we took him in and he s been a great member of the family since. But he does some weird things – cute but weird. Like every night when we go to bed he likes to go to the laundry room or other parts of the house and just jump up at the wall to touch it at the highest point he possibly can.
There are no bugs crawling. nothing. Maybe he s seeing things? Skitzo? I dunno. But it drives us nuts. Sometimes he ll just sit there and stare at the wall. Maybe we have something living in the wall. who knows. Now we have heard crazy things in our new home. a little girl laughing at 3am (inside), random voices, things being moved around, etc.
Maybe we have ghosts and he s trying to play with them. Do any of you cat owners out there have similar experiences? Is this normal behavior? PIC – Reilly is the larger one here. but Church is actually bigger now.
That s a perfectly normal attitude for a cat that is young, mine does too. He needs exercise, and cats jump a lot when they are young.
We must always. That s a perfectly normal attitude for a cat that is young, mine does too. He needs exercise, and cats jump a lot when they are young. We must always have in mind they are felines So be reassured, there is no problem with this. You can buy a cat tree,(or if you are able build one) even a small one will do, have a look at these pictures via the link, the text is in French because it s from Yahoo France Play with your cat, make him paper or aluminium balls (foil), give him tennis table balls if you think he should practice another activity than sharing his energy with your walls:) You can also hang balls of wool, fake mice.
GOOD LUCK. HE/SHE WILL CALM DOWN A BIT IN SOME MONTHS.
